Challenge 113 - Week Two

Welcome to Week Two
of Challenge 113
[runs Aug 14-26]
Theme: Let It Go - Make a project for your favorite season
 [and don't forget the sentiment]

Just a quick FYI: Click HERE for the Winner and Top Five for Challenge #112

I have three important messages for you today
 and I will start with:

Marie-Clare's Freebie sentiment:

Isn't that cool?  This one is going to be so versatile with winter coming up!  But here is incentive for you to use it on one of your entries now... We will be SPOTLIGHTING our favorite entry using one of MC's sentiments with the next challenge!  Watch to see if it will be you!

Second - I want to remind you we are pairing up with Sassy Studio Designs this challenge...

They have provided our DT with two different images that will fit our "Favorite Season" [we are using winter as our chosen season.] They will also be sponsoring the prize for our challenge winner.
Thank you for your participation Sassy Studio Designs!

Now to the most important order of business today - this is the first challenge for our three new Design Team Members.  Each of them has written a few introductory remarks so that you can get to know them.  I am putting their inspiration cards immediately following their comments and then MC and I will bring up the rear.  I hope you enjoy the efforts of our "new" Team B!  Welcome ladies!
Marie Ingholt
Hi you all! This is me, Marie or Cards by MI.  I'm a crafter since birth even if the craft subject has changed over the years.  Started with a crochet needle and yarn, then needles and aida cloth, you get it?  All due to my beloved granny who kept me busy when I was in the hospital as a kid.  One thing has followed me since then, and that is the love I have for paper of all kinds. My auntie had a small fabric making paper of recycled old newspapers and I always had plenty of it... I've had rheumatism since I was three and now when I'm 40+, I've got a whole collection of illnesses. Oh well, lets just say that crafting keeps me going. I slowly started my card making in 2009 when I was making tons of friendship books and got bored as they where so small. I have two boys 6 and 8 & during the fall and other times we do a little crafting together. Especially the younger one loves it when he gets to use my markers and make cards together with me. I live in Kalmar, Sweden together with my "boyfriend" since 19 years back. In our family we also have two cats, Hasse and Tage. You know your home is not complete without a cat? LoL  Ok, this was a "little" about me.
Love n hugs

Sandie Gough

Hello, I'm Sandie and I love, love, love to craft :) When I'm not working or organizing life with my large family (husband and 8 children!, 4 still at home!) I can be found at my desk crafting away on some project or other...its how I relax and feel a huge sense of achievement when something goes right and I am pleased with the result :) As my picture suggests I'm a southerner through and through, but now reside in the beautiful and inspiring Leicestershire.  We are surrounded my the National Forest and some fantastic walks.  As a family, we spend a lot of time walking and just being a part of the landscape, inspirational and calming.  I am really pleased that I was accepted onto the Aud Sentiments DT and am looking forward to sharing some fabulous crafty goodness with everyone.
